  1. Open Element X and choose Sign in.
  2. Choose the option to change the homeserver, then enter jollrog.com.
  3. Sign in with the account provided by your crew administrator. A full user ID looks like @username:jollrog.com.
  4. Verify this device using an existing trusted device. Save your encryption recovery key privately so you can recover your message history.

Accounts are invitation-only. Never share your password or encryption recovery key. Phone notifications can use Apple/Google and the app publisher’s push infrastructure; self-hosting does not remove all notification metadata. These are the official Element X apps, not a custom Jolly Rogers app.
